From one small office in London to offices all over the world in Beijing, South America, the MENA region and Asia, General Manager, Will Hardy, of regulated financial services broker TigerWit Limited, talks to us about how Cloud Focus have supported their growth over the last few years, enabled their staff to work from home and helped them to benefit from new technology.
“Our CEO worked with Alan from Cloud Focus when TigerWit first began; he provided IT support for our basic office, desktop setup. Since then, Cloud Focus have been with us through a rapid expansion programme of opening international offices and growing a retail client base who we serve in speculating and trading on the markets.
From day one, Alan would personally check in on us to make sure we were happy with how everything worked. This is on top of having the service-desk support whenever we needed it. But, as our headcount and hardware quickly grew, the team were there to configure laptops, set up Office 365, and ensure our security and compatibility with systems. They basically took us from a basic IT system to the more sophisticated tech we needed.
When we moved offices, again, Cloud Focus were there to look at our tech and setup to make sure everything was compatible, dynamic, and worked as we needed it to, and if not, create solutions for our better working. They are very proactive that way.
Cloud Focus set us up with Office 365, and although we already knew how to use the basics, they spent time in guiding us through other applications such as OneDrive and Teams. We now work, share information and data, and communicate much more efficiently as a result. In short, we basically use our software a lot better than we did.
With Cloud Focus, we have all the support we need to operate on a daily basis, and that’s for every member of staff; they have exactly what they need to do their day-to-day. Just before lockdown, Cloud Focus took a look at our systems. The service desk was very proactive in setting up staff to work from home. And during lockdown, as we’ve hired a further eight people, they’ve all been upgraded and enabled to work from home.
For us, it’s about the reassurance that Cloud Focus are there with the capability, technical knowledge and energy to support our growth and innovation. When they say they’ll get back to you, they’ll get back to you; when they say they’ll do something, they do it. And that’s even in response to our most random of questions!
Our business is constantly developing. We have plans for the future that will take us into a different market. But we know that in whichever direction we go, Cloud Focus will be there to support us with the right tech, in the right way.”
